Len Cole
President/CEO
A graduate of USC with a degree in Business, Len has been in the industry for more than 20 years. Born and raised in Salinas, Len held sales and management positions with several large grower/shippers in the Salinas Valley. After that, Len moved to the Coachella Valley, where he held a marketing and management position with a premier Coachella grape and citrus producer, which broadened his produce marketing acumen even more. Len later moved to Ventura County to become Vice President of a large vegetable grower-shipper-importer where he remained for 12 years until starting his own company in 2008.

Tom is a graduate of St. Mary’s University - Moraga, CA with a B.A. in Management. Tom brings more than 40 years of produce industry experience, in the areas of sales, marketing, and operations.

Luis Salazar
Director of International Operations and Food Safety
An Iowa State University graduate, Luis has more than 15 years experience working in Mexico for U.S. grower-shippers in the areas of sourcing, quality and food safety. With the increasing demands of the produce industry, Luis also continued his education attending UC Davis extension courses in postharvest technology and food safety. Prior to joining the fresh vegetable business, he developed expertise in agricultural trade and financing working for Banco Nacional de Mexico.

Matt Gillio
Director of U.S. Operations and Food Safety
A graduate of Cal Poly State University San Luis Obispo with a degree in Crop Science and a minor in vegetable production, Matt brings 20 years of experience in the produce industry. He also brings his knowledge of crop production, including best practices for planting, growing, harvesting and packing.

Dave Marotta
Sales
Dave, a southern California native, started his produce career with Coastal Fresh Farms in 2008. He has been a vital part of the company’s growth. He is responsible for day- to-day sales and transportation logistics. Additionally, he also works on maintaining and developing new products within the company.

Adam Sides
Sales
Born and raised in the Salinas Valley, Adam started his career in1993 working for grower-shippers. Adam joined Coastal Fresh Farms in the spring of 2010 as an account executive. Prior to this he worked for Boskovich Farms and Muranaka Farm handling national retail accounts and restaurant distributors. Adam is responsible for developing new and existing accounts in strategic locations throughout North America.

Spencer Osborne
Sales
A native of Louisville, KY, Spencer has more than 30 years of experience in the produce
industry holding key positions across all channels of the supply chain.
Spencer has worked in various capacities within the retail, wholesale, foodservice
distribution and grower/shipper communities. Spencer began his career as a produce
manager and later as a store director. He was recruited by Fleming Foods to work with
both regional and national retail chains across the Southeast. After visiting the growing fields in California, his passion for produce led him out West nearly a decade ago where he worked with regional and national wholesale foodservice distribution companies in Retail Sales Management, Business Development, as VP of Purchasing and VP of Operations. For the past few years, Spencer has worked with a major Grower/Shipper as Director of Sales serving customers across North America and Europe.

Jennifer Vallejos
Sales/Administrative Assistant
A graduate of Cal Poly State University San Luis Obispo with a degree in Agribusiness Marketing, Jennifer started her career in the produce industry in 1995. Jennifer joined Coastal Fresh Farms in 2009. Raised in the Salinas Valley, Jennifer has previously worked for Growers Vegetable Express, Salad Savoy Corporation and Muranaka Farm. In addition to administrative responsibilities she brings accounting and sales knowledge to Coastal Fresh Farms.
